NCR Applauds Committee Passage of SAFE Act
Washington DC – The National Cannabis Roundtable (NCR) applauded the passage of the Secure and Fair Enforcement (SAFE) Banking Act out of House Financial Services Committee.
“Providing legally operating businesses with access to banking and capital markets is a necessary step toward comprehensive cannabis reform,” said Terry Holt, NCR spokesman. “We urge Congress to pass the SAFE Act and provide states with the means to bank, track and tax this inevitable and significant economy.”
NCR submitted comments for the record in support of the SAFE Banking Act in February of this year.
